Miracles are simply those things that cause wonder and astonishment, being extraordinary in itself and amazing or inexplicable by normal standards. Because that which is normal and usual is considered as natural.Miracles have occasionally been defined as supernatural events. The significance of a miraculous event is frequently held to reside not in the event as such but in the reality to which it points (e.g., the presence or activity of divine power); thus, a miracle is also called a sign. That is; signifying something greater than itself (a supernatural being).During Jesus’ walk on earth, he did a lot of things that natural laws could not explain(miracles). Even his birth was a miracle. A virgin conceived of the holy spirit without having an intimate knowledge of a man. This was totally against the laws of nature where a woman is supposed to be intimate with a man before she can conceive to give birth.Wherever Jesus went he was seen doing extraordinary things, things ordinary men found hard to believe, things that made men knew that He was no ordinary man but rather God dwelling amongst men. Some of the things he did were raising the dead, healing the sick, and setting free the demon-possessed.In this article, we will be talking about a few of the miracles Jesus performed using water. Jesus did extraordinary things that were against the laws of nature with water.In one he was seen walking on water and in another, he commanded the storm to be calm.As a matter of fact, Jesus’ first miracle was performed using water. This is recorded in the book of John when he turned water into wine at the wedding at Cana (John 2:1-11).Below is a list of miracles Jesus performed using water and the bible verses where they can be found;

  1. Turning water into wine(John2:1-11)
  2. The first miraculous catch of fish at the lake of Gennesaret (Luke 5:1-10)
  3. Healing of the man at the pool at Bethesda (John 5:1-16)
  4. Calming of the storm on the sea of Galilee ( Mathew 8:23-27)
  5. Walking on water at the Sea of Galilee (Matthew 14:22-34)
  6. The second miraculous catch of fish (John 21:1-14)
